The definition of Manufacturing is the process of converting raw materials, components, or parts into finished goods. However for Insurance purposes you are deemed to be the manufacturer when you label a product you didn’t make, import goods from overseas, alter a product in anyway such as dying clothes, adding your labels to a product, engraving an item, repacking with your brand or making any other physical change to a product.
If you are unsure as to whether you are a manufacturer or not then please touch base with us to confirm.
PLEASE NOTE THIS DOES NOT REPRESENT 'FINANCIAL ADVICE' AS EACH PERSON'S INDIVIDUAL REQUIREMENTS WILL BE UNIQUE TO THEIR SPECIFIC NEEDS
